Job Summary

We are seeking a certified and dependable Interventional Radiologic Technician to join our growing team. The  Interventional Radiologic Technician will perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients using X-ray and related imaging technologies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment in accordance with physician orders
  • Operating room, portable, trauma, and fluoroscopic procedures. 
  • Properly position patients and ensure radiation safety measures are in place
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure proper functionality
  • Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain detailed patient records
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding radiation safety and patient confidentiality (HIPAA)
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering questions
  • Adhere to infection control standards and facility protocols
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification:Preferred: Interventional vascular certification by ARRT.
  • Valid New Hampshire Radiologic Technologist Unrestricted license
  • Current BLS (CPR AHA) certification
  • 1+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
  • Proficiency in using digital imaging systems and PACS software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
